Essay 2-02a: My Favorite Place

 I have a lot of favorite place, for example.. my school, my dojo, part time job's place.. but the most is my home. Do you know why I love my home? Because I can play with my dogs! I have a lot of another points! I introduce about that.

 First is my living and garden! Because I can be with my family in the living. When I was a junior high and a high school student, I used to watch TV with my family. But now, I am not with my family so often, so I glad with my family in the living. We enjoy watching TV and playing cards. And my young brother is an elementary student, so he is only boy when I am not there. I always thinking sorry to him. So I' d like to be with my family and I like to be with my family, that's why I like my living! And I like garden. My garden has a lot of plants, herb, rose, fragrant olive.. many plants!  We often use them to cook. The taste is very good! We have a terrace in our garden. I have two dogs, small one is in house and the other big one is in the terrace. When I and my older brother were children, we used to play with them. Now, we made a terrace and my dog is there. He seemed liked it. We often play with dogs there, for example ball games. I like my garden because I can play enough with my dogs.

 Next is my room! I like my room because I can relax there. I can read, sleep, and listening music.. I can do many things there. I often make my room messy, but I'd like to keep it clean. My room's wall is white and blue, and the cartain's color is yellow. I don't like their color, especially yellow! But I like my room. My parents bought me them. So, I like them.

 Third is bath room. I often take only shower because I must take two hours to take a bath. I don't have such an enough time. In fact, I would like to take a bath, but I can't. I love there because I can relax and feel good! I also feel that I get fatigue. I often put bath articles when I take a bath. I like them because the small is good. This is why I like bath.

 I wrote some places I like, but there were few of all. And I noticed I wrote about related with my dogs. I like my dogs. I love places that lovely dogs live.

First day in Minnesota

I am going to write my essays that I was writing everyday.

Today is July 22. Today is the our departure day to Minnesota. These days were so busy, so It hadn't really hit me to Minnesota. At Narita airport, we was upset to go abroad and staying another country's home. I watched two movies, Kaiji and Bokura ga ita. I was being nervous, so I was crying watching the movies. It was first flight by Delta. It was soso. There was a man next to me. So I and my frIend couldn't move so often. I thought sorry to him. At the airport of Minesota, there were a lot of people who were waiting for us. I was surprising . I found my host family and went to my host house with my host mother, Linda. She is so kind and intelligent. I couldn't speak well, but shE helped me. My host family is father, mather and two sisters and Kai, a cat. Father, Martin is an accounting manager in Bethel, Mather is a nursing professor at Bethel. Christina graduated with a history major from Bethel. She will go to school in London in September. Salah is Christinab's older sister. She is 23years old and she lives another house with her husband. And, they have a cat named Kai. He is a Himalayan cat. This family is so kind and intelligent, and they likes healthy food. So I thought I really lucky because I don't have to eat colorful food and pops!   (241 words)

Yurika is learning English mainly. She started to learn English when she was child. In junior high school, she started to learn grammar. It was first met to learn grammar. And she learned some words and idioms. In high school, she had to remember many words and idioms. And she had to read many sentences. Now, she is learning English in university Everyday. She has to read news papers and many sentences. She learned German for a year, but she can't read and speak it. She says "I would like to learn German more if I have time". She like Italy and Korea, so she would like to learn them too. She listens to music and watches movies for be good at English. Japan has much heritage and four seasons. She likes Japan because it has many beautiful things.                                                                                                             (139 words)

BR: 2-01 The Nutclacker

 A soft, fluffy layer of snow coverd Clara's house on Christmas Eve.

 I had watched The Nutcracker when I was a child, but this story was little differentfrom that I had watched. I chose this book because the cover was pretty and cute. That was colorful.There are some different points between this book and that I watched. This main charactor, Clara's blother doesn't appear this book. But, he appears to the story I watched. In this book, Clara and Nutcracker go to icy palace and The Land of Sweets. That's like the story Hensel and Gretel. This story was so fantasy and attractive.     (91 words)

BR: 2-02 The phantom of the opera

The Phantom of the Opera isn't just another ghost story. (p, 3)


 I chose this book because I lke this story, "The phantom of the opera". I have watched that played by Gekidanshiki. I and my family was very moved from it when we watched it.
 First, I had thought The phantom of the opera is just a ghost, but it was not true, the phantom of the opera was a man! I think Christina was really loved by him. and I think that was a true love. (76 words)

My life in Minnesota

 I stayed in Minnesota for a month this summer. I enjoyed everything there. My host family was so kind and interigent. I really thanks for them. I will write more about my staying later!   (34 words)
