About Minnesota 3

This time, I will write about families and marriage. Families in United States are as unique as individuals. In some families there is only one parent. In some families, the father gets the children will ready for school and in some families the children cook dinners. Very busy schedules require some creative planning. I heard families are growing smaller. Fewer families live on farms where they depended on children to provide help. I know children are expensive and the cost of higher education is rising. It is not financially possible for some families to have a parent stay at home with the children. Families are presented with more choices and schedules can become busier. I learned 55% of households are married couples. 75% of white children under the age of 18 live with both parents. And I heard 60% of children have a stay at home mom. The number of children being raised by a grandparent is on the rise. I learned the average age for men and women getting married for the first time is 26.9 for men and women. 55% of adult male children aged 18-24 live at home with their parents. And 46% of adult female children aged 18-24 live at home with their parents. When children have lived away from home and they return to live at their parent's who find themselves at home alone after children have left to live on themselves or go to collage are called "empty nesters." I thought this is so funny.
